What Is BUFF ELITE LAX?

Buff Elite Lax is devoted to improving the lacrosse skills and knowledge of ambitious youth and high school players.  Under the direction of Colorado head coach John Galvin, local collegiate and high school coaches will lead players through the same drills and practices employed by the CU men’s lacrosse team. Sessions will consist of intensive stick work and positional skill development through the use of techniques and concepts taught at the collegiate level. We will participate in local and regional tournaments in order to provide game experience and generate exposure to college recruiters.

Buff Elite Lax hosts an annual six week fall lacrosse program for high school players.  Sessions will be held Sundays, 4 to 6pm, from September 11 through October 16 at Manhattan Middle School in Boulder.

These fall ball sessions were used to evaluate and select a Rising Stars team which participated in the 2011 Pumpkin Shootout in Golden.

Buff Elite Lax organizes summer travel teams for area boys lacrosse players, who will have the opportunity to try out for U13, U15, and U17 "Rising Stars" teams. These teams will compete in the 2012 Vail Tournament, the Denver Shootout, and the Colorado Cup. Tryouts will be held in May.
